Join Us for the Upcoming Southern Sierra Prescribed Fire Council Annual Meeting!
The Southern Sierra Prescribed Fire Council will host its annual meeting on Monday, October 23rd from 10:30am to 4:30pm at the Sierra National Forest supervisor’s office, 1600 Tollhouse Road in Clovis. Presentations will include 2017 fire operations updates from the Sequoia, Sierra and Stanislaus national forests, and afternoon discussions will focus on air quality, operational capacity, public engagement and policy, and the formation of Council workgroups on these topics. We will take to the field to tour recently burned areas on the Sierra National Forest on Tuesday, October 24th, location TBD based on weather conditions.
